Writer's Sleeper Challenge Wk 9

To start the second half of the year we are going to allow repeat picks of players that were chosen earlier in the year. The player pool was getting so small it was becoming difficult to come up with players that were viable sleeper options. Wk 9 Picks are in.....

Show's Picks

Donald Brown RB - Colts - The Colts running back merri-go-round continues to turn and this week. It looks like with Addai out and Mike Hart not practicing that the 2nd year back out of UConn could get the start at Philly. Not the best matchup in the world but a chance at a solid 65 yds and a touchdown is a real possibility.

Michael Jenkins - WR - ATL. If first I don't succeed, try, try again. The matchup at home vs the Bucs this week could be a tasty treat for Jenkins vs a Tampa team that has given up the big passing play all year long. With coverage slanted toward Roddy White Jenkins will be free to roam the middle of the field and use his RAC ability. I look for Jenkins to get off this week with over 100 yds and a touchdown and becoming the next big WR wire grab.

Ryan's Picks

James Jones - 13% Owned - With the injury to the fading Driver, maybe this is where Jones can finally step up and be the WR threat alot of Packer fans saw in him when he was first drafted a few years ago. This week the Packers get the Cowboys porous defense so hopefully Jones can go for 6 catches for 97 yards and 1 TD

Tashard Choice - 4% Owned - I'll stick with picking players out of the Sunday Night matchup. Choice has been largely overshadowed since coming to big D, but with the lack of production thus far out of the Dallas RBs and MB III most likely not returning in 2011, it's time for Lame Duck Wade to run Choice out there and see if he can make a difference. After all, what does he have to lose? His job? LOL. Look for 10 carries for 52 yards, 5 catches for 61 yards and 1 TD

DeadheadBill's Picks

I'm going with Darius Hayward-Bey WR and John Kuhn RB(basically as a shout out to the South Park "Coon & Friends" episodes!!--not a fan of this Kuhn at all, but maybe a 1 yard TD is a possibility this week)

Post your sleeps and compete with our writers. GL wk 9.

Wes
