Bonehead Play of the Week - Week #2 - Toronto Argonauts vs. B.C. Lions

The NFL seemed to do alot better in Week #2 with not many bonehead plays as compared with Week #1. Apparently, Week 1s bonehead play carried over into the Cowboys game versus the Bears and affected their psyche that led to a home opener loss and an 0-2 start for the Cowboys. I am hanging on the 13% of those NFL teams that make it to the Super Bowl after opening 0-2. Houston you have a problem...I hope (fingers crossed).

We have to go north of the border for Week 2s Bonehead Play of the Week. This week's bonehead play goes to Toronto Argonaut's defensive end Ronald Flemons. You have to see it to believe. All I have to say is...Remember Leon?

I was curious to know if there was any possible link Leon Lett had with Ronald Flemons. Much to my surprise there was. They both are 6' 6" defensive ends that were drafted in the 7th round. So let this be a warning to all NFL teams that if your in the 7th round of the NFL draft and you need a defensive end make sure they are 6'5" or 6'7" and not 6'6" they may have a few blunders in them.

After watching this bonehead play after the announcers made a reference to Leon Lett's famous blunder in Super Bowl 27, I had to go back to the archives and watch it again. Leon Lett's famous two blunders will forever be etched in our minds. Leon not only had one major blunder but two in the same year. I found this video starring Emmitt Smith, Bill Bates, and Jimmy Johnson commenting on Leon's bonehead plays. Enjoy!

Thanks to the Show for tipping me off to this weeks bonehead play of the week.  I was getting worried I wasn't going to be able to find a decent bonehead play but the Show always delivers.  Until next week...don't be a bonehead.
